Router Table with PRS3090 Caster Kreg PRS1045 PRS3100 Router Table Switch

This review is more about the package of Kreg products that Hardware Sales has put together than the table and components themselves. If you're sold on this Kreg router table, this really is the best deal. Especially considering free shipping. I was about to order just the table and fence from a local chain store, but after shipping charges it would've been more than everything included here.

I placed my order on Amazon on a Sunday and later got tracking information saying I could expect it between 5 and 11 days. I received it bright and early on Wednesday, the 4th day. And it's a good thing it was bright and early because I needed to sign for it, which I didn't expect. It was multiple packages, which is much preferred to one large, heavy box.

The router table and components are great. It took a couple hours to put together, most of the time was spent trying to get the holes right for my Bosch 1617. I wound up having to just drill holes bigger than my screws to allow for some play. That's probably what I should've done in the first place. Another minor gripe is having to apply the adhesive measuring tape on the fence myself. The fence is 36" and unless you're cutting it down for some reason, the midpoint should be the same always. Because of the low light I was working with, I wound up setting the tape 1/16" off, and it seems like it would be bad to try to pull it off and adjust.

The fence seems pretty true despite its length. It doesn't slide too smoothly but a little wax on the contact points (mostly the left side, I think) should clear that up. I haven't yet used the jointing rods but they seem like they'll work out well since I don't have a real jointer.

Overall I'm happy with this purchase, and this package from Hardware Sales is much of the reason why. And no, they haven't (yet) asked me for a review.
